Fireflies

A futuristic racing game about high speed, precise control, and unique hover vehicles built around custom physics and a performance-first production pipeline.

About the Game Roadmap

Fast, precise,
built from scratch.

The game is a near-future racing project focused on hovercraft-like machines moving at high speed over diverse environments. The core idea is simple: fast races, responsive control, and vehicles that feel different from standard wheeled racing games.

Races take place in futuristic and natural locations — landscapes, technical routes, and varied tracks designed for speed, flow, and visual scale.

The project uses custom vehicle physics built from scratch, custom development tools, and proven visual production methods. The goal is not to overpromise, but to make a focused racing game with a strong technical foundation.

Core Pillars

What makes
it different.

01
Custom Physics
The vehicle behavior is built around a custom hover physics system, designed specifically for high-speed racing.
02
Precise Control
The handling is focused on responsiveness, readable motion, and control at speed — not just visual spectacle.
03
Unique Vehicles
Vehicle designs are created specifically for this world: futuristic racing machines with their own character.
04
Various Tracks
Tracks are built for high-speed and low-speed corners, altitude changes, long turns, technical sections, and wide environmental scale.
05
Custom Tools
Parts of the production pipeline are supported by custom tools for terrain, data processing, and gameplay systems.
06
Performance First
The game is being optimized for many racing vehicles active at the same time, with systems designed to scale from the start.

Development
timeline.

The project has been in active development since 2023. It started as a racing prototype and gradually evolved into a custom technology project with its own physics, tools, and production pipeline.

The current goal is a 2026 release, followed by free content updates through the end of the year.
